I found it kind of interesting that the Chiefs kicker is from Tampa.

Just saw a stat stating that Mahomes scrambled for about 450 yards.

A game is a game.  You win the right one at the right time you get acclimation.   The Super Bowl is good entertainment but it really doesn't necessarily determine the best team in the league.  Tampa was 11 and 5 on the season.  KC was 14 and 2 including a win over those same Buccaneers.  Someone once wrote regarding games something called "On Any Given Sunday".

The Bucs performed well.  Tom Brady seems to be a good quarterback but more importantly the Bucs management has put together an effective team.  I would, for this Sunday's engagement, credit Tampa's defense as much or more than their quarterback.

I'm still pleased with my team.  I think the other team is a flash in the pan (a phrase from back in the days of flintlock firearms).  Next season will certainly tell one way or the other.

Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a well placed single game win that did not reflect the season they had just finished.

The single game was the super bowl.  The Buccs rose to the occasion.  For 2021 anyway.

I didn't have any dogs in the hunt but honestly felt a bit sorry for Mahome-boy.  I'd bet he was one sore unit today.
