Hello

I wanted to let you guys know that my dad “BigTex Aka Larry” passed away a little while back. I found a Facebook group some of y’all are on, and they steered me here.

He was a hell of a man. Looking back on his posts here has been special. He went to Fredericksburg in 2015 with some of y’all, and may have gone to Inzane a few years back. Thanks for looking after him and giving him advice.

He wasn’t any good turning a wrench. That was always my department. But he wouldn’t let me touch his Valk. Ha! I’ve been on a Vstar 1700 for a while now, but he did let me spin the Valk around one time about 5 years ago.

He left me his ‘03, so now I’m trying to pick up where he left off with it. He had it looking beautiful.

I’m hoping to meet up with some of y’all and do a ride, maybe with some of y’all that rode with him before. I’m out in Abilene, and my family on his side is originally from Strawn. We still have a place out there. It sounds likes there’s some folks that frequent that ride. Let me know if y’all are willing to add another to the group.

Thanks,
SmallTex Aka Luke
