I'm considering buying it (helping a friend finding a mint Interstate with low milage)
Only 6000 miles and loaded with chrome.
It`s located in Ellenton FL.
Anyone here living in that area? I would have felt safer if someone here could look at it for me.

Wow, that looks real nice. Do you think the engine is big enough to haul around all those accessories and chrome? Grin

Folks is it just me, or is that seat too big for the Valkryrie?  It looks like the front of the seat is buckled from pressing up against the fuel tank....

Yea, I noticed that, but it is the apparent dent in the tank in the second picture that I am more concerned about...
What do you think Dag?  Or is that a reflection of something in the driveway?
Just sayin'...

There is a small dent on the fuel tank.
The GW is (maybee) a bit spasmodic, but the buyer like it.
Only 6000 miles on this bike. One owner.

That's a GL1800 seat and passenger backrest.  Not sure about the rider's backrest.

It's a matter of taste, I'm sure.  Were I to acquire that machine there's a lot of clutter that would have to come off.  The seat would be first.

That one is more to my liking, but it would have to have some stuff added, most specifically a better saddle.

The two are on opposite ends of the spectrum, aren't they?

I guess there's just no pleasing some of us.   Grin

Done...

Bought a 2000 Interstate with 32000 miles
Price $7.800.00
It´s already in Florida, so no inland freight.
Ordered Ultimate Low-rider Combo 4 piece, OEM lights for the Valkyrie Interstate that mount in the pods and Kuryakyn ISO Grips as well.

Many thanks to ricoman. He told me about this bike and inspected it for me.

Dag, that's a very nice looking bike; may it have a safe trip to the land where the Norse legend of the Valkyrie originated!

Well done, Dag!   cooldude

That is a very well appointed Interstate.

(The only thing you might've missed is that wimpy OEM horn.)   Wink
