Says Utah on the site.  Yeah I know, not Seth.

There's a large reservoir on hwy 50 which goes through Gunnison - the Blue Mesa reservoir, west of Gunnison.  We have had plenty of rain in Colorado - but speaking of the eastern slope.  The Gunnison river feeds into the Colorado river basin - western slope.  Blue Mesa is 45.5% of full right now - quite low.

Our reservoirs are also very low as we had little snowpack last winter.   We under severe drought and an extremely critical fire warning.   Amazingly, the tourists don't mind and the campgrounds alongside the lake are packed.
