Hate to see you giving up so quickly!  It's not that difficult and actually it's much easier to do ride reports with pictures .... once we get use to it we'll be thankful for the change. ... it's like anything else ... difficult at first then after a while feels like you've been doing it like this all along.

Technology changes and you can't avoid it!

Party is on in Tucumcari - May 23rd - 25th ... Hope to see you and Lupe there !!

I think the VRCC admin had "tuffed" it out for as long as was super-humanly possible with that old "unsupported" and archaic software that was limping the old VRCC along. Some were used to that format and had been hesitant to change for over the four years that I have been coming here.... uhhherrr there. I think our administration does one heck of a fine job with what they have to work with and with little to no budget for frivolous expenditures. They (admin) says that this software and format should make their lives much easier as regards site management, so I think we should all give it a chance, at least.

I'm certain that if you had any questions or needed help with something, you could ask any one of them for assistance and they would be more than happy to address your problems.

I have heard several around here say: "it's not the ride it's the people who are along for the ride".... or something like that....

We could extrapolate that to include.... "it's not the site or the software, it's the people of the VRCC that make this a great club"

Don't rush off, we need all members participating to keep this the best site on the net. You will get used to it. Ride Safely!

Very well said, I agree.  It's the people and the ride that ties us together. Smiley

I respect the vrcc admin. Iknow they put up with a lot and I'm sure it's not easy. Everyone I have met from the club has been great. I really am looking forward to meeting many more members. I will just keep on trying,I guess I'll get the hang of it sooner or later. I guess I'm pretty much computer illiterate. Have a hard time posting pics, And now I have to figure it out all over again. Oh well I will just keep on keepin on.   http://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee201/6packvalk/HorsetoothResevouir9-2007002.jpg

Lupe... You have it... just put in [ img][ /img] before and after that path in your last post.

You do that by clicking the first icon in the second row above the box you are typing in.
