08-02

Rode up with some friends to the annual AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days Swap Meet in Lexington (OH) the last weekend in July.  Aside from acres of vintage parts and various classes of road racing - featured some great classics (restored and original):

Enjoy!

Regrettably, none - unless you consider a commemorative t-shirt to have potential collector value.  Cry

Interesting, there were several vendors who specialized in complete sets of "retro" style tins - like from the old Honda CBs (for example).  You buy a new CB1100 - send it to them - and they make it look like a vintage 1970s Honda (for a less than nominal fee, I suspect):  New technology - old school look.  Supposedly, they're running 6+ months out on orders.

I think Harley has been doing this from the factory for a model or two each year.

If they had a kit that would make a new Valkyrie look like an old Valkyrie - I might be interested in upgrading.  Wink  I would like fuel injection some day.

Awesome, thanks for the pics.  When we lived in Pittsburgh, we used to go every year.  Always a good time.  One year when we were there, the featured mark was Vincent.  They had at least one of just about everything Vincent ever made.  It was great.
