I bought some used OEM exhaust for an interstate. They were sitting in a shop for years and the chrome on both the header pipes and the covers needs work. should I just have them rechromed or what is the best method to bring them back?

Well you may have a hard time finding a shop to chrome them as most will not rechrome pipes that are used because it messes up there chemical baths I think the carbon is what does it anyhow they may polish right up with a good chrome cleaner of your choice.
