"When You're Dead, Your Bank Account Goes to Zero"

Livin' Better Side of The Great Divide

« on: August 23, 2021, 07:46:12 AM »

Nobody harmonized like the Everly Brothers with those big ol' black Gibsons strapped over their shoulders and a load of pomade in their hair.  Thank you to whomever first got them in front of a microphone.

I'm feelin' a tad older today, but satisfied that I heard the best of the best back in the 50's.
The duet is reunited and playing their biggest venue yet.

Seriously, some wonderful music done by them.   I mean really, members of both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame.   Obviously, the vast majority of people that heard their music liked/loved it.

Interesting that that video won't load on YouTube for me.  Others will... Maybe too many folks trying to watch.

In recent years, my wife would refer to them as the Elderly Bros.   Grin

I remeber a LOT of heavy necking and petting while listening to The Everly Brothers on the A M radio in my 54 Ford. Think I had wired up 4 or 5 speakers in the back. And Tom T Hall also passed couple days ago. Tough Acts to follow. R I P Gentlemen.  angel RIDE SAFE.
