I have no idea if these would work but they look very much like the Viking baffles.

thanks.  cooldude  most likely that is what they used. will look into them. the originals are just carbon steel and not 304 stainless and why they rotted out.
looking into other exhaust inserts which are less cost than them and can still be wrapped.

all measurements match up except the length to the ones I pulled out.  news ones are about two inches shorter.

I ordered these
https://www.directcycleparts.com/apparel-helmets-vendor-catalogs-drag-specialties-20182019-oldbook-exhaust-choppers-choppers-1294-baffle-repl-tour-p-60915.html

price is for a pair.  they are 18 inches long. The ones I took out are approx 24 inches long. They must have been custom length for viking since Lachoppers only makes 18 inch long ones as they are for HD exhaust or there is another company out there that makes 24 in long ones.
They are carbon steel so I will ceramic coat them with the ITC ceramic coatings I have before I wrap them, with SS steel wool and ceramic mat wrap.

see image of Terminator Box, which is the basis of the Viking Exhaust system.
Having a glass pack design exhaust whereas the glass pack is basically attached to the header collector is not the best system to use. The TwoBrothers 6x2 exhaust system is a glass pack system.
a pure race track setup, dyno testing shows a straight pipe connected to the collector in the correct length is slightly better than the Terminator baox design.
for street use TB design is best.

another plus of the viking headers is they have a exhaust anti-reversion provision in the collector. This  helps in the low and mid-range rpms.

now I suggest anybody who has this exhaust to pull the muffler cores out if u still can and use some type of rust prevention in the tubes.
mine where so corroded I had to hammer then out from the inlet to the tubes.

Mine have rust corrosion on the sides and bottoms of the tubes at least 24 inches into the tubes, which makes it very hard to get to, to remove the rust and corrosion.

will be using drill bit extenders and 3 inch drum roll with 40 grit paper.  will then use either ITC ceramic coating or eastwoods high temp rust convertor. haven't decided yet.

when I install the new wrapped baffles which will be ITC coated inside and out except for the ends which contact the tubes, those surfaces will be coated with copper anti-seize.

remember the tubes and cores are all carbon steel, so if not addressed they will corrode and fail and eventually rust through the muffler tubes themselves.
