Do you mean the Pingle with a vacuum shutoff like the OEM valve. Pingle part # 1311 CHV has the vacuum shutoff.

No one did that. The Pingel totally replaces the OEM fuel valve and switch. None of the parts will interface.

Hey MarkT maybe I remember it wrong, I thought you did something with a pingle? I thought either hook it up to stock handle or was it just an extension

Set up a push-pull linkage on George as right side is blocked with oversize coils and left side blocked by an air horn.  It was easy to set up.  The screw-on knob is from True Value.  Here it is pushed in, off.  I could make this as a kit if there was enough interest.

The Honda model “Petcock Honda 95-98 CBR600F3 CBR600 CBR600SE CBR600SJR SMOKIN JOE 18-4133” is a no mod replacement for the Valkyrie vacuum activated petcock. It has on, off, reserve with no vacuum, so just remove the vacuum hose and cap off the manifold port. The chrome dial will bolt up to it.

Hmm Mark I'm trying to figure out what exactly you did there. I have a Pingle and it is hard to reach. I would like a simple knob I could reach for that I could switch from on, off, reserve.

Yes, that took some getting used to.  It IS quite a reach!!  But I can reach and shut it off while riding....if I want to burn off some fuel before I park it, or go to reserve.

I grew up with bikes where the fuel had to be switched manually.......just needed to learn where it is by "rote".  Yes, "old school" never goes away.

Using it now, I always shut of the petcock anyway. Changed it out when I did my air filter. One reward of using this new petcock you don’t have to fuzz trying to get both fuel and vacuum lines on. Since I have done the desmog too, I no longer have any vacuum lines, to worry about. I purchased the caps for the manifolds from Redeye too.

they have an actual replacement valk on with the vacuum line attachment on it 18-4161 I think it was.  For the Canadians FortNine has these in stock the manual one and they are less in Cdn$$ and no import fees

The way this works is the fuel is off with the knob fully in, on with fully out and reserve in between.  No reaching underneath at all.  The linkage is confined by and slides between the OEM wire loom and the frame.  I only installed it because reaching the pingel by finger tip was impossible after the big coils were installed.  Now it's way more convenient than before the coils.  The coils were needed as the Magnacharger causes the compression to extinguish the spark to where it was very hard starting.  I also installed a Dyna3000 which helped a lot to eliminate a flat place on the torque curve.  Not to mention providing spark retard at a compression level - set at 4#.  Prevents potential grenading from enthusiastic throttle use.
