Been running E4s, now at the wear bars at 12K+.
Tried the Darkside on the bike and was not happy.

Who has decent prices on the Dunlops?

Threads about tires and oil can be worse than threads about Politics and Religion.

I have ran Dunlops but not for awhile.

My only complaint with them was poor mileage.

Other's here hate them.

I have ran about every MC tire that there is for our Valkyries.

The only ones that I have found that I really like are:

Metzler Cruisetech on the rear:

And

Shinko 230 Tourmaster on the front:

May I ask why on each?   I'll need new tread before next riding season and I'm thinking to get a set mounted up on my spare sets of rims ready to go when the time arrives.

I ran Metzler 880's on my Interstate for many years....When they were no longer available  I bought the ME888"s. Very happy with them.  Try https://www.piratemx.com for good prices on Dunlops.

Looks like no one has a rear tire.  I might just have to go to the darkside.
I did a search and nothing  current came up.
What are you darksiders running on the IS?

The exedra max is available in 200-16 and is the tire I rode back from Phoenix

It hugged the road doing 90++ with T-bird and company and in the rain at 80+ riding home from GOTF through Mississippi and most of the way to NY in heavy rain in 2014   BigBF (RIP) plugged a hole I got the last day in Asheville and I rode it home and later rode it to go to Spearfish but picked up another big hole in DesMoines   That one was too big for multiple plugs and you know what happened if you know me   Very comfortable to get another

Probably only would get 10-12k miles but at under 200 so what its only money and you cant take it with you   12k  is several years of riding  as I only do about 3000 a year on the Valk now  Its almost all the police bmw with its superior handling all around (but not comfortable for all day riding)

But next year I plan to ride the long way to Seattle and back  Anyone interested?  Either way or part of the way and open to slight coddlewimpling?

For darkside, look at the Michelin Crossclimate or Chrossclimate II.

Not at all.

The Shinko is a bargain at around $100 and feels better in the rain than any other front tire that I've had.

It also lasts, I'm averaging about 16k miles out of them.

The Metzler Cruisetech feels really good and lasts the longest of any rear tire that I've used.
And I've tried about everything on the rear.

I've ran the Metz 880 and the 888's and the Cruisetech is far superior to both of them IMHO.

I'm getting about 14k miles out of the Cruisetech which is way more than I've gotten out any other tire.
