On the potential fire issue with Lithium batteries, would you store a fully charged one in the house or attached garage, or out in a shed or in your car/bike?
The reviews of that charger on Amazon are nearly all five star thumbs up. No fires noted.
Potentially, I might burst in to flame sitting here.
I think cheap cut-rate Chinese scooters are examples of the kinds of things that are
catching on fire these days, not iPhones... I saw the other day a thing about all the
delivery boys (Hi Britman

) in New York City who depend
upon their cheap scooters to get their jobs done, and how an ecosystem
of ill-thought-out repairs and making stuff keep working with mis-matched
parts is leading to 10th floor apartment fires as the delivery people bring
their scooters up to their apartments to charge each night.
I think about my DeWalt batteries and my I-never-heard-of-it-but-they-don't-seem-cut-rate
NOCO bike battery and jumpstarter battery catching fire sometimes, but I don't
obsess or worry about it. I just try to be careful in choosing stuff and then
enjoy the benefits of modern technology...
