At the retail level. A quick perusal of the current gasoline prices-87 octane corn polluted-show just ove 3 bucks a gallon to 3 and mid teens a gallon. 1 station in Pomona Mo. is holding fer now around $2.85 a gal. Did my runnin in West Plains after Church yesterday and stopped back in Pomona to fill er up. And I noticed the owner in the fuel islands putting plastic bags on the pump handles.  He was WAY DOWN in the tanks and about to run out.  Found this out as I circled back around to an open pump. He was trying to reach his truck driver to see where he was at-how far out. Could not raise him on the cell. And I Did NOT WANT fuel off the very bottom of the tank. I was NOT hurtin for fuel just wanted to top up. BUT on the other hand could be a portent of yet More fun and games comin our way. And Thanksgiving is what like 2 and a half weeks out. And I am for all intent and purpose out here in Red Neck Ville Not THAT close to a major metropolitain area. And yet STILL thinkin here-lets go brandon!  RIDE SAFE. |

They must be happy with the rising price of fuel is all I can figure out.
Yeah, shut down those pipes lines, kill oil production on federal lands, beg OPEC to produce more for us to buy. I'm not sure they realize the price of fuel effects the price of just about everything we use and consume. Yeah, that's the ticket. Enjoy the ride, hopefully it'll be over soon. Let's Go Brandon!!!

Gasoline cant help but go up in price with holiday traffic about to peak and demand gets greater. I dont think we are anywhere near the peak in prices of gas and diesel….and Joe hasnt even added more tax to gas yet. Thats coming too.

How can the Lib's make us go to EV without raising the price of gasoline? The new $1T bill has a lot of money to setup EV charging stations and improve the Grid. So they got to make gas more expensive so folks will buy the EV's and use their charging stations. Right????

Much like the vaccine mandates I HATE to be FORCED to do Anything! And another Major QUESTION comes to my slightly addled mind-HOW EXACTLY when I'm FORCED into an E V am I expected to AFFORD the danged thing? Far as recharging the beast goes aren't we-AMERICA-a LOT shy on our current power grids? I mean ask California about high line problems and forest fires. I currently reside in a rather heavily forested part of the state. Green new deal my hairy backside. And as a slight aside I fer one may not be around fer this but at a Top N H R A race weekend can you even Imagine the lack of that Earth shaking Ear shattering Roar the eminates from a Top Fuel Dragster or a Fuel Funny Car replaced by the sound of the high pitched whine of an electric motor/motors. I have seen EV Charging Stations. But have never stopped and looked closely at one.
Question, how do you pay for your charge? Credit Card????
If you do have to use a credit card, can someone else come up to your charging "place" and remove the plug from your vehicle and insert it in theirs?

KY3-nbc affiliate-noon "news" just made mention that a year ago the state wide average for fuel was hold onto yer wallets-$1.73 a gallom. Just looked ay a couple of fuel stops-$3.09 to $3 teens on average. Also looked around where da prez resides-northern Il.-$3.50 and higher a gallon. Thanks Joe. RIDE SAFE.

They have no idea how to replace these energy sources but they do not care. Its the thought that counts.And as much as some of us believe that Nuclear is a reasonable answer to the use of fossil fuels for the generation of electricity, the Democrats have been against its use since the day it was first proposed. One of the reasons is that, it would and will work. It will remove us from dependency on the government for stuff (namely wind turbines and solar which are not fiscally feasible. ) |

I had just heard on the news that President Biden was going to extend bans on oil wells in the US. I did a search and could not find a news article reference that. But did find the article referenced below dated March 23, 2021. As I have said before, "You cannot make this stuff up". Here is a major part of the article. I stopped to fill up the Explorer this afternoon. It does not get driven much so I don't get to the gas station that often. I saw this on the pump. I checked the other pumps (there are four pumps at the station each allowing fueling on both sides) and of the the other two I checked did not have the sticker. The pumps on my island had the stickers on both sides.  |

Simple as this.
Cut off oil from the US and everyone will buy EV's which will save the world. Every EV that is made is sold. There just isn't a big supply of them even if you think that will work in the near term. Also many people can't afford a new vehicle. They have to buy used and so far used in the EV market is bad news.
Natural gas prices and heat oil have spikes for home owners, heat is kind of needed. Ya someone in the Northern states is going run their house off of solar? No they won't.
Doesn't matter, we will save the world everyone will pay up for this new clean energy, it will work out in the near future if no one gets a chance to do other wise. The US's investors and union work force will solve the problems in no time. We put a man on the Moon.........we can do it, just a little suffice is needed by everyone.
