“About 234,391 pounds of fully cooked ham and pepperoni were recalled Sunday due to listeria contamination found in the product sampling”

“The items in question were shipped to retail establishments nationwide, according to the FSIS, which urges consumers not to consume the affected products, and instead throw them away or return them.”

A little botulism is a great laxative.   Grin

But my few food poisonings were pray for death experiences; never sicker in my life.  For days and days too.

FYI This has been updated as of yesterday.

https://www.nj.com/food/2021/12/ham-and-pepperoni-recall-expands-throw-away-or-return-these-meats.html

“A nationwide recall of ham and pepperoni products has expanded to 2.3 million pounds of meat due to potential listeria contamination — 10 times more than the initial recall.”

“Michigan-based meat supplier Alexander & Hornung initially recalled 234,391 pounds of cooked ham and pepperoni products on Dec. 5 due to listeria contamination found in the product sampling.”

“Six days later, the company expanded the recall to include 2,320,774 pounds of cooked meats that might be contaminated.”
