Lord, we come to the foot of the cross and lay Oz at your feet. We ask you to give Oz the strength he needs to get through this tough disease. We ask that you bless him going in and coming out, when he lies down and when he rises up. Lord raise him up as only you can. You already took on every disease with your body on the cross, and concurred them all. You paid for Oz's healing. Give the medical staff Godly wisdom and send the perfect ministers across his path. The wisdom of men is not working with this disease, Lord we need Your wisdom, and your healing touch. Look after and bring comfort and a peace that passes understanding to Oz and his family.  Lord we ask these things in the precious name of Jesus. AMEN

Willow is correct. He definitely had COVID.  I assume he is now testing negative for the active infection.  Now he needs to recover from damage done to his body, mostly his lungs.  Idk if he still has pneumonia, but probably.  He's been hospitalized for 3 weeks; probably about 4 weeks with COVID.

Update 2/12/22 (actually from evening of 2/11/22):
He is not out of the woods, but doctors say he is doing well.  They had to start dialysis.  The hospital is allowing 1 visitor per day.  His wife sat with him Friday, held his hand, and prayed.

Best news I've heard or read all day.

The dialysis is not necessarily permanent.  Acute kidney failure is often reversible; it really depends on how quickly they resolve the issue(s) that caused the failure.  In this case, it was likely a combination of Covid, pneumonia, and required medications.  However, it is important to use dialysis to remove toxins and excess fluid when the kidneys are unable to perform those functions.
