Congrats, and it depends on which parts you need.

Some stuff you can't buy new anymore. I click through ebay periodically
and get parts I think are good.

For most things that are still available new, I use Partzilla, AdeptPowersports, and BikeBandit mostly. I keep a lookout on Ebay, Craigslist, and FB Marketplace as well. Every once in a while, you find someone selling parts or accessories that are considered unobtainium.

Da Prez has been moving some parts lately. Check our classifieds regularly, never know what might turn up.

This is your best bet for used salvage Valk parts in the country.

When I needed a new rear wheel, I don't page through a hundred pages and bid, I call and make a cash deal.

GL1500C A is a Valkyrie Standard. GL1500C AC is a Valk Std California emissions version.

GL1500CT A is a Valk Tourer. GL1500CT AC is a Valk Tourer Cali version.

GL1500CF A is a Valkyrie Interstate (started in the 1999 model year). GL1500CF AC is, you guessed it, a California model Interstate.

This is how it was explained to me when I purchased mine, by a retired Honda tech. Makes more sense after you see it.

The devil is in the details.

Lots of parts cross all models.  Lots of parts crossed all models, but were later upgraded (during Valk production '97-'03) to better parts for all models.

Obviously there are some different parts between models.

There are a few different parts just for 97s.

Some parts for one model can be converted to use with another model, but you have to use the whole assembly, not just one part of the assembly.

I like to find parts/prices online. Then go to my local Honda dealer and negotiate a better price. Remembering that there is no shipping cost, it's better for smaller orders. Almost everyone now charges some or all taxes online.

Want to keep their doors open, or we wont have a place to buy our toys. Now it the price is crap, go somewhere else.

All the other places have already been mentioned, online, used, etc.

I spent 6 months reading the Tech section for years back, to learn about our bikes. Get a Honda Service manual at Valkyrie Norway. You can learn a lot there too.

Also the Shoptalk section in this forum, for some how to and information.
