I'm going to be leading a group of about 12 from Minnesota in early August.

This is one of the routes I have planned for them.

Had a butt pucker moment.

A group of 6 cyclists taking up all their lane were huffing and puffing uphill as I started to go downhill. They disappeared from view around a left hand curve behind me.

Just as a dump truck came into view hauling ass.

I flapped my left arm up and down very quickly and he had the sense to slam his brakes on.

Had to do the same to the following vehicle which came into view around a bend towards me. Another dump truck towing a low loader.

That will be interesting.  My wife is from Minnesota and while I have not spent a lot to time there, what I say was flat and straight.  Might be different way up north but.....

Should be interesting.

Yep I'll have to give them my "It's not a f'in race and there's nothing to prove" pre talk.

Highest point in MN is about 2,300 ft.  Cheesy

Britman, thanks for posting that.  I didn't know about that route.  I'll put it on my to-do list.

I forgot to mention that the 2014 Valkyrie used 4.1 gallons.

Route 63 off of 209 is a wild ride.

I was in Maggie Valley Sunday April 24th with some co-workers, we rode to Salty Dawgs for lunch and rode back up 209 towards Greeneville.

First time clicking the new wing into sport mode and testing out manual mode on the DCT = WOW!

Valley Tavern is a better food choice.

Sunday I was the Asheweird Farmers Market. Excellent selection of cheese
