I talked to a Hillbilly Woman up in Huntsville Tennessee and as far as she knows this is Robert E Lee's Birthday today.
Now theres a fellow who was once in the Union Army but when asked to abandon his kin and fellow Virginians he told the Union Generals no and went wiht his heart to Lead the South.

Then they stole his home place and you all know what they did wiht that, It's Known as Arlington National Cemetery.
So here's a present to a man who was loyal to his people and stuck with it to the end.

January is sometimes referred to as the Generals Month....some of the southern generals of note were James Longstreet 1-21-1812.....Robert E. Lee 1-19-1807....Stonewall Jackson 1-21-1824...George Pickett 1-28-1825....the greatest of those probably Jackson and Lee....they were considered the best battlefield duo in history....had Jackson not died at Chanellorssville, Gettysburg may have had a different out come and our whole country could have been different today... cooldude glad to see you up and around again....I bet you have a different view of things now Smiley We'll see ya down the road, take care.
