Thanks, I knew I found a gem.
She had just 9600 miles last year.
We just rolled over 8000 together today.
I've read the paint detailing article, and now it's time for the Meguire's Ultra Finishing polish and #26 Hi- Tech Yellow wax.

The paint is somewhat easier to keep up on than the wheels (esp in back on a bagger).

You get up to 100K (like mine) they don't look as good anymore.  Then again, neither do I.   Grin

My first interstate came with 3400 miles (and a pile of bling, tooled leather seats, and airbrushed blue dragons on it)... in 2005.

H*GLEG, you might read this article on Joe Boyd, the genius behind the Valkyrie (second paragraph) linked by Beer van Huet and Dag (Norway).

Honda Valkyrie by Fred Rau, a friend of Joe Boyd

I am starting the approach on 200,000 miles and my wheels still look great. Just stay on top of it

This is at 180,000
