Hey Team, it’s been a while since I’ve been active here. Had  our first kid and the bike sat for a while. Unfortunately I got some rust in the gas tank so I’ve got to deal with that.

We also moved and the movers decided to use my bikes handlebars as a shelf in the truck. I think the worst damage is to the throttle cables.  Does anyone know what part numbers I need?

Also have some rust on both hand controls/reservoirs so if anyone has any they want to part with I’d be glad to hear from you.

Thanks!

Check www.ronayers.com for your parts. There's still plenty of items available.

Do the movers have insurance?

They'd be eating that repair bill.

Yes, but it was an Army move. Thanks to a ridiculously complex and confusing system, I screwed up and “saved” the claim on the online portal but didn’t “submit.” It’s on me, now. No recourse, I tried for this and all the other stuff they broke.

My late friend Stan lost a pristine '72 F250 4x4 (390 w/ 4spd) due to Navy movers - so I kinda understand.

I have a set of very low mileage throttle cables for sale.  PM me if interested.
