Gentlefolks
I believe most are familiar with Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear show, the original one from BBC (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_Gear_(2002_TV_series).I personally liked the BCC show quite a lot, they talked about cars and while at it made jokes and another spirited non-sense along the way.
The 'Killing a Toyota truck' episodes were a high point in the Top Gear series in my opinion.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnWKz7CthkkTurns out that Clarkson has a farm and in late 2019 he decided to run the farm since the main manager apparently had decided to retire.
Without knowing a thing about farming, what could possible go wrong?
The cool thing is that he made a TV series about it, titled 'Clarkson's Farm' (
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10541088/).
It is available for free if you have Amazon Prime, on Prime video.
Of course, being a motorhead, Jeremy had to buy a gigantic tractor made by Lamborghini.
:-)
I will avoid giving more details but I really enjoyed the series.
I have family that grows coffee beans in Brazil and I'm aware that farm business is tough and non-stop work, but I really liked how Clarkson managed to explain the complexities of running a farm (weather, costs, government red tape, etc) while maintaining a positive tone even during the worst raining season in the last decades in UK.
The second season should be made available beginning of next year.
