On Willows post regarding club dues, there are a few comments about how we use the this forum.
I dont use the Tech board as much as i did before either, much because some people who dont know try to help and it is often the same questions being repeated.
I know that it is well intended. It is in our nature as members of this exclusive club to help each other.
My advice is: Don't give out incorrect advice - if you don't know the answer, don't post!
Please be careful when answering peoples technical questions.
It can be costly and could even be dangerous if the wrong information is given.

I dont have any problems with the general board, I can choose what I want to read.

I'm proud to be a member of the VRCC and to have met and become friends with many of the members worldwide.

Well, there are a lot of new valk owners who are dealing with, hearing of, problems for the first time.  If a question was asked, answered, and that was the last of that subject, there would be no reason to have the board, would there? Just search the archives.
I agree with  being careful about answers.  But, sometimes there are numerous possibilities of causing a problem, but only one is right.  Next time, same symptoms, different answer is correct.  So, should you answer or not?

Dag I completely agree with your reasoning, and it is very well stated....it is hard to believe that English is your second language!!

I only respond to the "simple" questions. Anything that's over my head
I'll put an "I'm not a mechanic" line but I'll give an opinion or a suggestion.

gotta agree with the Norwegian on this one.
MP makes sense too-but he is basically agreeing and does have a point about multiple causes resulting in different solutions.
Then the question poster can think it through.
Bottom line- if you haven't a clue-don't share anything-
There is so much info here to be learned (or found over and over-if you don't want to learn!)
That's why I think 20 bucks would be a library card for tech books!
