Great talent......somewhat overshadowed by Stevie but she was definitely a force......one of my favorite songs by her and seems very appropriate now....

She was an asset to Fleetwood Mac! And yes she was over shadowed by the entire band, not just Stevie.

I remember going to a party at someone's house my first year at Clemson.
I remember this GREAT album playing on a really good stereo (I was more used
to a kmart stereo).

It was the Buckingham/Nicks album, maybe most of you never heard of it, they
never re-released it after they joined Fleetwood Mac.

The glitz of Fleetwood Mac wasn't really my thing, though I do remember playing
the Tusk album in my car a lot.

Soon I went off on a binge to get all the pre-Buckingham-Nicks Fleetwood Mac
albums, I still like them a lot.

And I have the Christine Perfect album. She was my favorite.

Rumours was my favorite Fleetwood Mac album.

A lot of people agree.  It was the 6th best selling rock album of all time.

A gut punch for sure. She was the band's most prolific composer, and during a time when many band member's lives were falling apart, she was the trooper that helped hold it all together. I'm blessed to have lived at a time when she was with us.

Her voice was and always will, "Be music to my ears"  Such great song writing skills.  Will be deeply missed.

Condolences to the band and John

Not so often a person is willing to step back and not be the center of attention

But without a doubt she was awesome and like Hubcap I have those pre famous albums

Remember Kiln House?

Sad news for sure. Another person who really touched people with her voice…through the music. Another gifted entertainer gone but her legacy will stay around for quite some time. They were a messed up band but the music they put out was excellent and right now, at this point, time has shown their music, the girls voices were powerful, moving or just plain touching. Time folks. Time tells the tale. Their music is legendary, still with us after all these years and not stopping.

Thanks Christine, RIP
