So has the Wing ( Charlie )  and Shadow ( Paul ) cooldude  I'm posting on Charlie's puter we made it into Myrtle Beach a couple hours ago .
What a beautiful day for a ride we was killin' bugs this evening temps was in the 60's.
Plan on ridin' the coast tomorrow.

Posting with Charlie's laptop ....We've had two outstanding days of ridin' today we did 220 miles rode down the coast to Charleston and checked out the USS Yorktown. I've got some great pictures . The weather from here on out looks bad to be 450 miles from home on a motorcycle  Sad  ....Smokinjoe

Hey Joe I have been on that Patriots Poinnt where the York Town is docked . ThAT THING IS HUGE.

But it is a Dingy compared to the new Nuclear Powered models. York Town has a storied history of Greatness and was instrumental in the Pacific Theatre of WWII.

A guy who used to work for me at the Y-12 Steam Plant used to to be a Boiler Mate or whatever they call them and when he took the tour , he really took over the tour cause he ran the boilers  in it's later years. The Vet's name is Jess Salyers, one heXXuva man.

Hope you eat some of that good cooking they have over there.

We've been livin' large Al  Wink  Hope to ride home Sunday morning thank you for the offer in the other thread  but I have no plans to EVER have my bike on a trailer.When you get to feeling better we'll need to ride back down here the lady that owns this motel likes me and hooked us up....Smokinjoe

We spent a week a couple of years ago on Hilton Head, Savannah & Charleston...we went through the Yorktown and the the other ships and sub....it's pretty cool....the kids really liked that trip....went to Ft. Sumter and a couple of other Civil War forts.... cooldude
