Hi!  There's a new electric centerstand for sale on eBay today.  I bought one a year ago from the inventor in Poland and am thrilled that I did, because a few months later I broke my hip and there's no way, even with a helper, that I could ever get my beast up on its manual centerstand again.
Highly recommended:  https://www.ebay.com/itm/385787407952?hash=item59d2b8ae50:g:omcAAOSwPg5ktqGI&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA0AS0SDJSfitDI%2BwHw0w1aNsLqG8mLysfdfAiG63DuIZRjhfA3G6bZlN7uQOm3o31%2BqzJaNU%2FwC%2BorLH7nzSNOSno7rKu5Ta7nDpBIB1uB6Css2rwAac7t%2BcfJRcJFQSsp7pu0a4JGd3p9ZlV5zjZKuSr%2B6YSSKo0BMB56NOM72pZx5mFyovocUxgC%2FkQLApemGCI442rs721i09K1nZHtCXNDrvXiiTbhdLUtmRPTg93sdA78zDbV2RNoY1TWGJLWXEo2jgfYmgRh79uQTqh%2BW0%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_De65itYg

Electric Center Stand?  Hmm, OK.

So far, never needed a center stand but, it's good to know something like this is available.

$900 bucks is a bit steep, but I recall that a non-electric traditional rivco center stand goes for like 600 bucks.

Starts to get tempting.

How hard was to install it? Does it interfere with the kick stand? What if you got a belly tank on the bike, would it fit?

You also mentioned that you had a manual center stand in your bike... is it for sale?

Hi Savago,

I already sold my manual center stand, sorry.

The installation was similar to the manual center stand.  It doesn't interfere with the sidestand.  I had to swing the emissions canister (I don't know if that's a California-only item) out of the way a bit and re-mount it (not hard), but otherwise a straightforward installation.  It uses one of the sidestand mounting bolts, that's barely accessible behind the engine case on the left side, with not much room to turn the head of the bolt - that took the longest.

Electrical hookup was simple; right onto the battery, and I left the switches under the seat to prevent accidental operation.

If you were going to buy a manual centerstand anyway, and are concerned about the effort to get the bike up on the stand, it's worth the extra $300+ to get the powered stand.

I don’t think the center stands are compatible with the belly tanks.

One wonders how much draw the powered center stand puts on the (small) battery?

Do you always keep it on the stand when garaged or only when working on the bike (sharing garage space with cages, I know the center stand saves space)?

It seems to draw a fair amount of power; I keep the engine idling when I use the stand, but that's probably not necessary.

I only use it for servicing, not regular parking in my garage or when I'm out and about.
