I've been trying to get one from the local honda dealer. (17210-MZ0-000)
He says it's months out on back order.

Partzilla also says it's 210 days out.

Anyone know where either OEM or some other type is available?

Or, dare I ask, can the filthy one I'm taking out, be cleaned/re-used?

(Some supply houses don't ship up to the Great White)

I've been doing testing of  the air filter over the yrs. The OEM will last a minimum 24k miles.  Mine lasted to almost 27k miles however I'm running a forward open air box lid and high velocity heads. How did I know mine was no good, mpg dropped by a few. Plan on doing an actual air flow test of it vs a new one.
The standard for all vehicle air filters was 40k miles and was usually posted everywhere 40 yrs ago until dealers and manufacturers dealing with air filters figured they can sell more air filters by stating 12k miles, same as they all did about 3k miles oil changes.
was sent an email about two wks ago that they were in stock here.

https://www.amazon.com/Emgo-Replacement-Filter-GL1500-Valkyrie/dp/B000GU1LJ8/ref=asc_df_B000GU1LJ8/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=598232298885&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2152164449827007064&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=t&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9010019&hvtargid=pla-1679796423005&psc=1

The last two for my bike are Emgo, shown above.  I have used other Emgo products and found them satisfactory, too.   We can't compare filters without lab equipment, but these seem to be as good as any.

I have EMGOs and comparing them to OEM, EMGO has one less pleat and the filtration media they are using must flow more than OEM due to the metal restrictive plate on the intake side.

I have washed my air filters . Just be gentle and let them dry thoroughly.

looks like something I will try esp., since the OEM is a synthetic material and not paper.

I got mine from RonAyers- I had exhausted everyone else. The OEM is the best air filter, EMGO are good also.
