These belts have 204K miles and no real wear. One belt does have some wear in a interesting pattern that I didnt notice til the bike was all buttoned back up. Look closely and you can see some wear on 4 consecutive teeth and then no wear on the next 4 teeth. Continues all around the belt and it is only about half way across the teeth....

The idler pulleys are still quiet and smooth, re-tensioned the new belts with just the spring pressure seems just right, no belt noise or squealing and slightly less than 1/2 inch play.

The main reason for doing the maintenance was to replace the left hand cam seal that had developed a Harley syndrome.....peeing a couple of drops of oil on the floor after a run.  So while doing that, wenmt ahead and replaced the right cam seal as well as the crank seal.

Good for another bunch of miles....whoopeeee.

service manual states any wear such as that requires replacement.

glad somebody provides proof which I've been stating for yrs that the belts last much longer than 60k miles.

Again per service manual you should replace those belts, before a failure.
