First, I apologize for the rather late announcement... we've had some struggles this year.

Location:  Dubuque, IA.
Dates: June 9-14 (Early Bird cook-out is Sunday, June 9).
Registration will open early Jan 2024 (please do not contact hotel before registration is open).

Contrary to many expected first thoughts, Eastern Iowa, Southern Wisconsin, Southeast MN, and Western IL have many excellent motorcycle roads and beautiful scenery.  The Northeast part of Iowa has the nickname Little Switzerland.

We have lots of fun things planned, including:
Meal function at the "Field of Dreams" movie site, with photo ops and possibly some "ghost players."
A Riverboat lunch or dinner cruise (working on it).
And who knows what else we have up our sleeves.

To the old stomping grounds. Nice riding along the river in the tri state area. This may be a good oppurtunity to reunite with some former co-workeds at JD Dubuque Works. Looking forward to it.

Oh man, I was going to suggest the Riverboat Twilight. Been on a couple cruises with them. A 2 day and a one day cruise. Great boat. Great crew. Good food too. I remembered the Train ride during the Athen's Inzane and thought of a similar excursion.

Bravo!

A great thing about Dubuque is that it is central to an amazing amount of Day ride opportunities. Field of Dreams being one. Galena, Ill. another, National Beer museum in Potosi, and a bunch more.

Thanks!

A good choice. It's a scenic area with loads of history. The Mississippi is nearly 2 miles wide north of town, a real sight to behold. I visited relatives there years ago and took a dinner cruise on an old paddle wheel driven riverboat which was very interesting.

Just came through Dubuque Iowa three days ago on our way back from West Amana Iowa. We camped our last night of the year at LAKE MACBRIDE STATE PARK near Solon Iowa. We stopped down along the river and made our lunch before heading home. Valkyries like running in cold weather.

Ok, it’s been a while since I logged in.
I think it was about the time Inzane got flooded
out at Billings

Anyway, I was just about to make reservations
for Sturgis and Yellowstone. You have plenty of
time to dream and plan working midnights and
waiting for the phone to ring.

Well, a thought popped up that I could check on
Inzane. After consulting with the boss (the real one,
You know, THE WIFE) we will be headed north and
East for this years get together

Now, I gotta go get a new front tire for the Valk

It's a bit more than a day ride but if the time permits for the out-of-towners, I highly recommend a jaunt up the River Road to the Duluth/Superior area. Pre COVID era I made the trip at least once a year. Since...not yet so maybe this can jump start that routine. It's a bit over 150 miles to the big river from mi casa. Of course that's if i don't get to lost in the driftless area with the 7 piece fly rod I carry in the saddlebag when I head that way.

I'm just starting to search. I'll get serious as soon as the GZ is announced.
I'll start a camping thread on the InZane page.
Anyone who knows camping in the area please chime in!

Normally sometime after the new year.  We are there so whatever final steps need to be done are undoubtedly underway.

We have two Campers confirmed so far for InZane. One at Coconut Cove and one at Rustic Barn campgrounds. All you Campers please check the "Camping at InZane" thread on the InZane board and let everyone know where you will be.
Maybe we can coordinate a campfire event? cooldude
