Saw hilites of the Daytona ARCA race on late news last nite. Danica Patrick was running the low side late in the race when she got bumped. She crossed the yellow line, got in the grass, car got sideways and she saved it to go on and get a 7th place finish. That gal can drive a race car. And she's very easy on the eyes.

Are you saying this is more to your liking?   Undecided

Little Miss Danica may not be too familiar with the winner's circle... but, she seems apt at gaining attention.   coolsmiley

I tried to watch the race yesterday. It seems like Nascar and Arca are nothing but one big long yellow flag race anymore. Did they ever get ten laps in under green? I gave up after about 40 laps and most of those were run under yellow.

Why is so much time spent driving under yellow now days? One wreck to another every race.

I'd rather watch the motocross action anymore than Nascar.

It's obviously a Ford product in that picture, anybody know what it is? If that woman would get her butt off the hood for a minute maybe I could see what make/model. And try to not scratch the paint while you're at it, OK lady? Geeez, perfectly good car and kids are climbing all over it for pete's sake.

PS: Nice....uh....shoes!!   Cheesy  Shocked

Not a FORD fan anymore, but isn't that the replica Ford came out with of the car built by Shelby, the GT 350 & GT 500?

Norm, she finished 6th.  Even DW was impressed by her save.  I watched the late night rebroadcast last night.  They talked about how her Indy car experience had her doing stuff the the other rookies weren't like watching videos of last year's races to find out what restarts were like, practicing coming into and leaving the pit box, and constantly asking Tony Eury Jr. lots of questions.  During the red flag, she asked Tony Jr. what switches she needed to turn off while waiting for the race to restart.  All that speaks to her professionalism and her lack of a know it all attitude.  When they interviewed her at the end of the race, she said she had a blast.  I'd like to see if she runs in the Nationwide race next weekend and ultimately in the Sprint Cup in the near future, maybe next season.

I know what ya mean Raymond. I haven't watched an entire Nascar race in years. That's why I caught the hilites of that race on the news to see how Danica did. I like her ah, style.  Smiley
