Charlie, the punter is from Pearland.  His name is Thomas Moreshead.  He is the one that kicked the onside kick to start the 2nd half of the game.  He graduated a year ahead of my son.  They played high school soccer for 3 years together.  Proud of that boy from Pearland.  

Could you imagine, graduating SMU, getting picked on an NFL team, getting to start, AND winning the Super Bowl?!?

Glad the Saints won.

Looks like I was on the wrong side of both levels' championships.  Rootin' for the Saints, QB'd by a Westlake boy, when Westlake is the rival school to Lake Travis, my in-laws' school.  Also rooted against the longhorns, QB'd by a Lake Travis kid.  I'ma gonna be in trouble!
However, those western Austin boys are making a fine showing, even if Mack Brown mistreats them.
