78 Seconds

60 MPH, flat road, turn the petcock to off......78 seconds later the lady begins to starve for fuel. Switch back to on and  in 1-2 seconds, all is good again.

From the way it is written sounds like maybe a kinked hose.

No, he is just clarifying what was part of the discussion in an earlier thread.

Maybe because I had said there should be more.  Probably too much subjectivity on everyone's part.

I think that "2 seconds" is reasonable and points to a good fuel supply availability and delivery.

Actually I feel the subject ended at stalemate since it was about minutia to begin with.

Curious minds....chuckle.

Someone said their petcock "might" be leaking when off.......now they have a standard to compare it to.

my petcock leaks from old age, not a kinked hose........     LOL

Oh, I'll bet ya'll was a talkin about the petcock on da Valkyrie, my error......... :evil:

I was gonna suggest a little Bardols Stop Leak,,never worked on a radiator but might  be just  what the Dr. ordere3d for a leaky petcock......  LOL
