Need some help.....later this month I'll be riding from western WA down to Sedona, AZ and want to stay off major highways as much as possible.  Planning to go south through Bend OR then into NV.  Looks like I'll have to go down to LV to get over to AZ.  My concern is from northern NV, down through Tonepah, to Beaty and over to LV.  There's a stretch that's 100 miles between gas stations, which shouldn't be a problem.

Just thought I'd throw this out and see if anyone has ridden the NV route(s) and what they're like.

Thanks

Enter Utah and go by Zion. From there make your way past the North rim of the Grand Canyon. Then South to Flagstaff and down 89A through Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona. No Lost Wages city traffic. Much more scenic.

I did that going the other way after leaving Valker's place  I picked up 40 near amarillo TX and took that to  Gallup NM . Then next day after the high winds passed I took it to Flagstaff then  89 to Page to Kanab past lake powell north of grand canyon then took 9 to Zion ending in St George   That was a terrific day of riding !

but since I was heading to Beverly Hills I ended up on 15 for a good spell after leaving St George
Although its an interstate the  ride from St George to Vegas is thru many mountain passes and good fun

Some pretty country out there
