I can't find the metal doodad/clip that bolts to either side of the front fender, it's used to hold the brake lines in place. I have the clips/clamps, I need the small rubber insert and not having any luck finding them. What parts screen are they on...or if someone has a couple available I'd pay for them. Little stuff like this drives me to drink...usually sugar free no caffeine Squirt or 7-Up. Wink

EDIT:  Just dawned on me, I'll bet those rubber inserts are originally part of the OEM brake lines(which I don't have). Guess I'll keep looking for a substitute but I'm open to ideas.

Most likely could find those common clamps at a good harware store. RIDE SAFE.

Found some in my stash. Forgot I had them but now I know where some other stuff is also. Been so long you forget where you put stuff.

Been so long you forget where you put stuff.

Tell me about it.

You have a small place with limited storage, you categorize, organize and pack things away.

You do it for 30+ years, you find yourself going... "I know I have this, but where in the heck did I put it?'

I have lately come to think of this as... hiding things from myself.

Then, tearing through things, you find other things you forgot about (and it's like an early Christmas present to yourself).

Then you get busy looking for something you are carrying around in your left hand.

I don't think I'm getting Alzheimer's (yet), but it's like the old noodle brain can only handle so much storage of knowledge, and the stuff stored in the back of the brain (maybe decades back) is harder to call up on demand than it used to be.  And it's irritating.

Nearly everything I have for the Valks are stuck in two big storage bins in the bike shed.  So at least I know where that stuff is.  Nonetheless, I recently discovered I have not one but two extra sets of rear shocks for the bikes.  One is a brand new shiny chrome set, but the old flaking chrome ones (discontinued 440s) on one bike they are to replace just keep working perfectly, and I won't sh!tcan them just because of looks.
