Quick Rear Rotor ? -- 97 Tourer

Well the Bullet needs a rear rotor. Was noticing the one currently mounted has "ridges" around the outside facing bolt holes -- designed that way. My Interstate rear rotor does not have these, and is flush around the bolt holes.
Price is an object, I'd even buy a used one in good shape but aftermarket new could be good too. Looking around, the ridged type on the Bullet are scarce on the aftermarket. That said, lots of other brands like EBC make rotors without the ridges they say WILL fit on a 97 Tourer.
So has anyone tried EBC or other aftermarket rotors (without the ridges) on a 97 Tourer with success? I don't want to order one and have to return it.
