We're still hammering out details in a location that is less than 1000 from the 2024 location.   rider

Miles ridden, or as the crow flies?

As the crow flies, it is less than 750 miles.

Well, I guess we can rule out my dream of Bikes on the Beach in Mobile Alabama... Wink

Does this mean, as has been used in the past, the state the potential location resides in currently has a Republican governor, or some other meaning?

Hmmm... something like this then I think, but I could be off...

Made me sad to see Hattiesburg come off the possibilities, I was hoping Rams would be able to use his excellent GZ motel negotiations skills to our advantage!   Evil

The location we're checking out is not in a new state for InZane... but it is in a new city.

By my reckoning that leave the following states as possibilities:

Iowa
Arkansas
Tennessee
West Virginia
Small part of Virginia
Ohio

Iowa should be just a little nub that would be east of Dubuque.  But I can verify that it's not in Iowa.

I do believe you are correct...

So...

Tennessee
West Virginia
Small part of Virginia
Ohio

Are the possible possible locations...

Fine, turned my GPS tracker, er I mean analysis tools on and I'm gonna take a stab. Not positive of the actual GZ but based on the few hints that trickled out, gonna guess they flew through the Tri-Cities airport (TRI) in Blountville, TN...

The state currently has split party senators.  But that may change soon.

So that means my TN guess was way off, and we're down to, I think (I've been wrong a lot this time) WV or Ohio...

Didn't come through for you either, but I fixed my post.

Yes, WV.  That's Baby Dog, the Governor's dog.

It would appear this photo was taken at the Greenbrier Valley Airport, Lewisburg, WV.....

Specifically just outside the Mi Tequila "Mexican" Restaurant... (Quotes because I don't trust Mexican food North of Dallas or East of the Mississippi)

The Governor and Baby Dog do not reside at the Governor's mansion in Charleston.  They reside in Lewisburg and commute to Charleston.  Many West Virginians are not happy about the arrangement. It won't make a difference soon though, since he is term-limited out.  He will likely be replacing Manchin as US Senator.
