Mine is currently at 236,485 with zero issues. They've never even needed to be synched or adjusted in any way.

The prevention of carb issues is to ride the machine frequently.  However, some in the Northern climates cannot do this.
Congrats Valker!

I rebuilt DDT's carbs when he was at my house before we left on a ride. They were still running, but the bike was not running well. It was stumbling a bit. He had around 780,000 miles on them at the time. There were 3 Air Cut Valves leaking, fairly heavy deposits inside. The O-rings were not leaking or excessively hardened. A testament to what it takes to keep carbs working. Run them. After ultrasonic cleaning and replacing 169 parts, then balancing and tuning, Bruce said it was much better.

That's gotta be close to a record for most miles on a Valk:   780,000...(wow).

If he was getting 39 miles per gallon, that'd take 20,000 galons of gas.

Yes, DDT (Bruce) has the most miles ever on a Valk, or at least the ones in the VRCC and FB groups.
