Is it possible to use Goldwing cylinder heads in a Valkyrie? Can Valkyrie camshafts be used in Goldwing cylinder heads?

Since they are the same motor basically, I would think the heads would fit. As to whether you can use a Valk cam with the Wing heads, I have my doubts since the Wing valve train operates differently. I think you'd have problems with the lift if nothing else. The first clue if memory serves...the Wing valve covers are deeper so the Valk valve cover bolts won't reach although they do fit the Valk. You can put the fancy Wing covers on a Valk but have to use Wing bolts.
Granted, that isn't a definitive answer, I'm just passing on something to think/consider.

yes GW1500 and valkyrie heads are the same. what is different is how the valves are actuated. all the camshafts will interchange, how the valkyrie cams work on a GW engine?, will require tuning and a great knowledge of the operation of GW computer systems esp the automated carb system.
