The forecast for my area is 5 to 10 inches of snow. That's a large spread. I'm thinking we'll get more than 6 but less then 10. We'll see. It's supposed to be a fluffy snow in my area. So the cleanup shouldn't be bad. The fluffy snow typically doesn't lead to power outages, either. We're ready for it.

The extreme cold that's coming after the storm is what's gonna suck. Lows around zero or less on Tuesday and Wednesday nights/mornings. Glad the chance of power outages is minimal, because we're gonna need our heating system next week. I don't have a generator.

Stay safe guys!  Cool

The clean-up will be so much easier than with the wet & heavy stuff we have experienced the past few years....
I just returned home from a run to the liquor store....Can't be running out of Jim Beam or Titos if we are inside for the deep freeze...
Plenty of gas in cans, just in case some nutjob goes off the road and takes out a couple power poles...

P.S.  It's sunny and 48 degrees here....

We're clouding up already. It's 39 degrees here in the shade.

Close to 8 inches on the ground, with a layer of ice underneath...
15 degrees and quite breezy....
Back in the day, this wouldn't be considered much of a storm...

Man, we've become a bunch of wusses.

I don't get concerned till we get 18-24 and even then we can handle it.

It's winter in New England, we get snow sometimes, sometimes a lot, so what.

The so called "news" organizations got to do something to feel validated.

I was in Georgia once when a storm of 6" was predicted, you want to see panic, whew.

You want to see panic!!???  Just watch the weather guessers here in the Houston area.  Both airports are closing Tuesday and Wednesday because we "might" get 3-4 inches of that white stuff.  Schools are already closed for both days as well.
Wusses is a great way to put it.  SMH

2 - 3 inches........... and Eastern South Carolina is at a standstill. No school, news media blowing everything out of proportion, and us former yankees are being smart enough to stay off the roads that these southernerns do not know how to navigate. I personally would have no problem driving in this stuff if everyone from around here was from New England.       Glide-on>>>>>>>>>>>>
