Evan, I think you should change parties. You sound like you have sound morals and principles. Soon if not already any Democrat with moral’s and principles will be  (or should be) ashamed to claim that evilness.  They aren’t even trying to hide the fact that socialism is their goal. That is un American and going quickly down the road you warned of in your video. The end of the Republuc.

Evan, it's amazing how your opinion of 4 years ago was spot on in calling out the Big Tech censoring free speech.

You were right then, it's the right opinion now, but it took getting a new president to uncover the unconstitutional oppression, which is sad.

I'm not sure if you still consider yourself a Democrat or not, but that party has some serious soul-searching to do.

I am a conservative libertarian according to those who know this stuff better than I

Have not switched as it is the only way I can vote in the primary to keep the loonies out of office
before the big elections

The party does need to be de-funded IMHO

For me the most important part of the conversation is that the Democratic Party is coming out from behind the curtain. For many of us it has been quite obvious what has been going on behind the scenes, but with little proof that the average American voter could pick up on.

But with their grip slipping on the media and many of their outlier constituents waking up to their lies, I’ve never seen so much boldness with their hate speech. Now some are rallying to the dog whistlers for a variety of reasons, mostly fueled by hate for Trump and all he represents to them in their minds. All I can say is it’s much easier to defeat your enemies when they expose themselves and the Democrats have certainly been doing that.

Evan, good luck with that, keeping loonies out.

Maybe you should run for Senate or House. Smiley

One thing I have thought about for a long time - anybody I would like to see in a federal office is "too smart to put themselves there".

Hey Oss, well thought out and nicely stated.

Thankfully Musk changed things up quite a bit with what was Twitter and I believe Zuckerberg also made some changes on Facebook. I’m not on either platform so I cannot be certain as to how far things have changed or even if they will change back again.

I think the change Musk made has made it possible to now push back on what is posted…things can now be officially challenged by the public which has made the platform more “transparent” I guess for the lack of a better word.

The use of social media is something that came on fast and crazy and people weren’t ready for something like it while quite a few learned very fast how to manage and manipulate it for their own benefit.

in NYS one can not have a private law practice and still be in the legislature

I know it is bizzare

With well over 300 clients active cases I can not close shop and feel good about it

So I take 10 weeks off, each year, working only about 2 hrs a day while travelling around
This is week 2 in the gulf coast of Florida.  Next week up near JeffC in Panama Beach

I have thought about it as far as running for state office but the feeling passed
