Some good ideas to stabilize the bike.

I used a wheel chock and a couple of straps from the ceiling on the  handlebars.

The PO found my shipment. Partzilla sends stuff in the highest quality box with a perfect label. I simply can’t fathom how the PO sent both my shipments so far astray.

I have what I need but in the interim my eye surgeon moved my cataract surgeries to yesterday and this next Monday so now I’m on hold for a few weeks. Just in time for triple digit temps.

Well I had my right cataract done. Was completely blind in that eye for 4 days. Surgeon said it was a “difficult “ extraction. Did not do the left. Also no longer have my perfect near vision. 50 years ago I learned how to sharpen drill bits by hand and could still do that easily. Can’t focus close up to do that anymore. Maybe in time…

Picked up a SERIOUS staph infection in my left elbow from a chair arm in a doctors waiting rooms.
3 hrs from “Gee what’s that” to the ER and two weeks of two different antibiotics. If I had waited overnight I might have lost my arm.

So yesterday I got released to do heavy work and today got the Valk up on the stands.
