already saw the towels, for $2 i am probably gonna get one, I was really hoping to find old patches or shirts.

There is a LOT of baggage associated with flying the now defunct VSG colors... I'll get a pic of it at least, and you can see it sometime if you're over here, or if I remember to stuff it in a saddlebag sometime when I know I'll see ya', but it won't be worn ever again. Some things are worth fighting, killing and dying for, and a backpatch for a club that no longer exists isn't one of 'em...

While digging through the closet for the vest, found this shirt. It won't fit me, it's only a 2xxl... Nice shirt too, button down long sleeve. Lemme know if ya' want it Ghillie:



I know I've got some keychains, maybe hats doo-rags, etc. Pretty sure I don't have any extra patches though, but I've gotta have more VSG swag around, I'll keep my eyes open for 'em for ya'...

There's really no secret to it, but short version - VSG had a ride across Galveston island. Didn't respect Bandido turf, flying VSG colors. Bandidos took offense to this and pulled the VSG group over. There was much internal strife inside VSG about we shouldn't hafta take our vests off because they say we shouldn't vs. we wanna play bikers, we gotta play by biker rules...

It got pretty ugly after a while, and I just took the vest off entirely. I'm not a biker. I don't pretend to be, I'm a guy that likes riding a motorcycle. The real bikers play by some, to me, very odd rules... I ride to relax and get away from stuff like that, so... The vest stays in the closet now... This eventually became the stance of those who owned and ran VSG, so the colors were officially retired before the group itself finally withered away to nothing...

It was a fun group while it lasted...

Nope, VSG was a dues paying COC member...

I even went to a few COC meetings representing VSG. Very colorful gathering, I must say...

But... Bandidos "own" Galveston island... NO ONE can fly colors other than Bandidos without approval and usually escort by the Bandidos...

VSG didn't respect (Or understand) that, and flew VSG colors while riding across Galveston island...

Turns out there are all kinds of special places where ya' can't fly colors without getting the permission from M/C X or Y. It's a minefield out there, and if ya' don't wanna play by the rules, and find out who ya' gotta respect to ride through a certain area, bad things can happen...
