AAhhhh, Sunday afternoon, its raining and I am sitting on the back patio listening to the rain gently falling on the aluminum patio cover, got 2 fingers of Macallan 18 and wondering if my baby will need a clutch anytime soon.  I run across this item on ebay and wonder if its a good deal.  Has anyone used one of these kits and is it a worthwhile thing to do, I don't wheelie the beast but the clutch was beginning to slip in 4th gear while using 15-50 M1, it seems solid after switching to Rotella syn 5-40 (sure wish I could find the old 20-40 weight....just dont like the 5 weight idea) .   Oh Oh, bad news, down to 1 finger, better type fast.  The rain on the patio cover is.......hypnotic...... and the smell of pulled pork and red beans is wafting out the back sliding door.....I think I am in heaven!  Ah, back to the technical....does this kit increase the clutch lever pressure over the OEM springs, don't know if the fingers would take that or not.  Additionally, how do you know you need a new basket without tearing the clutch apart first...is that possible to know.  Oh my, now I am in trouble, I have 0 fingers left and the wife wants her laptop back.....maybe dinner is ready.....sure smells like it might be!!.. crazy2

My experience was, the Barnett caused me more trouble than the stock one and the stock took all the abuse I sent to MGM's rear wheel.

The stock clutch should be fine if no Supercharger is used, Not only that, i have the Barnett clutch w/ heavy duty spring, and by the time you get home on a 8-10 hr ride your fingers Will be cramping up, and that last mile will not come soon enough, not to be a sissy but i have worked with my hands and hard labor my whole life, and i now clutchless shift most of the time now, also i have been using 15-50 and have had 4th gear slippage also with the Barnett ,so going back to Honda oil this month. hoping also this will help. well the wife now needs this over rated microwave back to water her flowers on Farmtown!!
