scarylarry:
American Moto Tire has them in stock

John97:
I am struggling to find the Metzlers in the sizes for my Magna as well so it’s not just the Valkyrie sizes that are hard to source.

Jess from VA:
I misspoke when I said I got an ME 888 a short while ago (above).

I got the newer CruiseTec.  (And stuck the tire sticker in my trunk lid to remind me)  :crazy2:

So I can answer my own question.... I can notice absolutely no difference between the 888 and the CruiseTec.

Just did another 4hr cruise early (before the daily thunderstorms).   :tickedoff:

McJeep:
in the same boat but needing front and back - I did find both in avon cobra chrome at Fortnine - but I also read a bunch of reviews bemoaning cracks developing in the cobras (never heard of that back when I was running them repeatedly on vtx 18 and previous valk IS - anyone here have any carcass issues with the avons? I really do like their stickiness as I live in a rain forest LOL

I've been through several sets of Avon Chromes over the years & never had a problem. Great mileage & adhesion. Dyna beads only & proper inflation (40-42 psi front, 42-44 rear) are key to longevity.
