Traxxion Dynamics suspension on my Valk

YSS will work. With the height adjustment all the way down (how I ride them with my 29" inseam) they're about 12 3/8", but they ride higher than my old light spring 12.5's. Anyway to me they're just like 12.5's. They'll be shorter than 13's at full height adjustment but again they'll feel higher with a couple of turns of preload on the stiff springs. Like 12.5's they only have a 2.5" stroke, but they're so good for the money IMO it doesn't matter.

I spoke to Dan and they are adjustable from 12.4” to 12.8. I think I'll be picking up a pair soon especially after the snarky customer service from Progressive between the lady who answers the phone and the guy that answered the emails. A shock fails in roughly 3000 miles and they will do absolutely anything to get out of a warranty repair. You'd think they'd want to stand behind their products and figure out why the shock failed. Instead they just want you to buy a new pair, best they would do is offer a $100 discount on a new pair. Rather spend the extra $100 on the YSS and hopefully they last longer than 3000 miles.

Joe333x:
Installed the YSS and have a couple days in the saddle on them and they are great! So much better than the progressive 412s I had that made me cringe everytime I went over a bump. They don't look as pretty but they are also behind the bags anyways.
