Another Air Bag Jacket wiht a better explanation.

It looks like it is reusable and simple as plugging in a heated suit.

One of our members in the Magna Owners Of Texas (MOOT http://www.magnaownersoftexas.com ) has one.  He took a spill last summer at our yearly gathering.  He was repacked and riding again n short order.  He stayed with the bike all the way from incident initiation to full stop, so the jacket did not inflate until he stood up to pick up the bike.  I have been looking at them and plan on getting one this spring.  Has anyone found a good source for them?

I got the Hit-Air Gp2 from bikebone.com

I really like it. Besides being a new-fangled airbag thingy, it's a great jacket and high-quality armor.

I do have the hit air, got the silver mesh jacket and no challenger I havent
tested it out on the ground yet Cool My avatar shows my old rocket jacket from 8 yrs ago

The armor is CE, much better fit than the joe rocket for me and the armor is
better quality than what is in my killamanjaro. Was comfortable up to the high 90's on the ride down south

I wear the mesh jacket year round, just when its cold I put a ski shirt under a fleece and
use the windproof/waterproof liner from my rocket jacket

bought it from bikebone 2 yrs ago after I broke my rib after hitting oil in a turn.

Think it was 299. when I bought it, its more now

They also have a vest, the product was 1st thought up for riding horses but its a great idea
for riding a bike IMHO  If you fly over the bike, there is plenty of time for it to inflate before you land
it protects your ribs, neck and to a lesser degree your hips and pelvis
