Have any IS owners taken out their radio and taken off the controls and put on a J&M system?  I'm thinking of going that way because of not having any radio and communication.  Just too expensive to replace and I cant determine whats wrong with it.

Hi, If you are going to do that, first, let us know how it goes. Second, what are you planning for the old system?

I can relate to the frustration, mine quit about 6 months after I bought the bike. No other problems except a little water that got into the black box (hi pressure washer) and I had to take it apart and clean it. Would be nice to have some spare parts.

If you can run a volt meter and find wires and back probe the plugs and need some ideas e-mail me and I will try to help. Most of my problems were related to wiring harness and dash read out rather than the black box or switch module.
