I asked a question recently about adding an auxiliary fuse box for the various bits and pieces that I intend to add. After considering what I wanted to do I realized that I only actually needed two fuses one permanently live and the second switched live. I went to a motorcycle breakers yard whilst I was in the UK and I found a small two mini blade type fuse box on an off-road bike that I thought would do. When I actually came to fit it today I found that it had a dovetail groove on the side and this matched the dovetail on the stock fuse box. I slotted the two together and did the wiring.

This is what it looks like fitted alongside the original

So if you only need a couple of fuses this may be the way to go.

That is a lucky find. Worked nice hooking together. Did you get a model and size of the dirt bike so we can search part numbers ?  Smiley

Nice Job  cooldude

I'd be embarrassed to post a pick of whats under my left side cover. Wish I had labeled my accessory wiring, but since everything's soldered I assumed I wouldn't have to trace a failure. I wove a tangled mess that made adding another pair of lights a pain though.
Maybe next winter I'll clean it up and label it - Not-

Good thing I'll never sell it 'cause a new owner would be hardpressed to decipher my mess.  Undecided

No sorry I didn't.  Embarrassed The breakers just had a load of looms (unmarked) I told them I wanted a small sized one and they just cut it off gave it to me for $2 (£1.50) Smiley and the guy said he thought it came from a 125cc trials bike. There isn't a part number on it so I can't assist any further.

This is obviously much more expensive than your solution, but does the same thing (has circuits for always-on as well as keyed). I have the other version hooked up with a relay. Very nice fuse panel.
