This will be a busy Valkyrie Weekend. The forecast is calling for rain on Sunday, so we are moving the monthly Wrench party to this Saturday the 6th

Once again, Valkpilot has generously offered to host in Corinth . He plans to start at 8:00am , so we can show up then or anytime thereafter.  When we are all done, we'll ride to the Ponder Steakhouse for a big lunch! (I heard that before   :-[)

If you plan to attend, email Valkpilot (barnettdhobvious@yahoo.com) for his address and directions.

If you can't make it, or you just don't want here are some other options.

Glad to see that you can make it.

Feel free to bring any extra tool....you never know what we might need....or just bring yourself.

We didn't have our staff photographers on hand, so these will have to do...

Apparently the Prez' arm hurt from all the work.  It was brutal.

See what I mean?

All in all, a really good day:

New front brake lines for Valkpilot
Run/brake/turn conversion for ThagAndy
Carb sync for BnB Tom and the Prez
New spark plugs for Vermithrax
New driving light wiring for BnB Tom

Done by 1:00 pm (or so), in Ponder by 2:00 pm for great burgers and CFS.  (They had pie, but the thought made everyone groan after the mass quantities they'd just consumed.)

Valkpilot does it again!  ANOTHER wrench party at his house  :cooldude:

And once again, it looked like everybody got one or more things accomplished.
Not only did I get a couple of things done (with a lamp part from the Host and some carb help from the Prez) but I even ate enough of Ponder's Steak House chow afterwards to enjoy a very delightful Saturday afternoon nap when I got home.
        Mmmmm  8)

I probably need to lay off the biscuits and gravy

Last Friday I took out my Valk for my first ride since the hip replacement and it felt great.  I put my original seat on and road it with no problem.  My other seat which I modified sat me higher so I felt real low to the ground riding it.  I may have to look for an Ultimate Big Boy in the future.

I wish I could have joined you for the wrench party but I had to visit my mother who is in the hospital.
Ride safe,

Wish you could have joined us, Dave, but we'll see you soon, I'm sure.  As a matter of fact, I think we're due for the March dinner meeting this Thursday, and for once, I'll be in town.

Hope your mom will be better and out soon.
