Intake question

I have to replace the intake manifold o-rings. I know that I've seen it on here in the past but am unable to find it.
Any one out there know the cross # for the intake manifold o-rings???

Over the weekend a friend and I found ourselves in need of six intake runner o-rings, supposedly available at any auto parts store by requesting the size 123 o-ring.  Maybe the local auto store clerks are not well educated in o-ring sizes, but everyone that we ask in 5 different auto parts stores and one well stocked hardware store knew absolutely nothing about a size 123 o-ring.  Those who were interested enough to look brought out a big red box of assorted o-rings just like the one I have here in my garage.  We finally found someone who could help us at Advanced Auto Parts.  The metric size of the o-ring is (28MM X 34MM X 3MM).  Advanced Auto's Parts carries it by the part (#64628.1).  I hope this might help someone in the future or maybe someone will add it to the list of substitute parts...JT

Ya know, I have had one of those o ring kits for about 182 years and have not found one application that any of those would fit......too fat, too skinny, need one in between........whatever!!

I added them to the list.
Any bearing house will have them on the shelf as Dash 123, and you can get a whole bag of them for a couple of bucks.

I found a place here in Jacksonville FL that has the Viton O-rings. It only took a hand full of calls and then a referral to find this place.

They take phone orders, my cost was $7.45.

GOt home and let the motor cool, replaced the O-rings and it runs good!!!
O yea, had to clean and polish behind the pods. the lady feels better now.

It is not necessary to change all six as a matter of preventive maintenance.

It is very easy to see the 'O' rings that are leaking by the stain around the base, and those are the only 'O' rings that need to be changed.

Save the rest for if you have to go back again on the same intake!

I ain't gonna do just one. Why get the tools out again and again?
If I did, then next month another would need it. I'll do em all at one time and be done with it.
