If you are thinking about getting a new GPS but have a perfectly good one.  I might be able to help you by purchasing your old one from you.

I don't need the latest and greatest, but my old Garmin GPS V is just too awkward to work with.

I may be out of line putting this in here but looking on the classified section the only GPS mentioned is included WITH a Valkyrie and I already have one of those.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

We have one in the ambulance that they might get rid of. Takes them 3 miles off and has them turn left all the time, even tho they need to turn right.  Roll Eyes I hate'm.

If you don't want to spend allot of money, I would suggest going to DOD tracker. They have deal of the day specials and often have brand name GPS there.  Some of them are under $100.  Couple of friends bought some there for throw aways, but still use them.

Click on the tabs like electronics and computers and check all out. Each day they have different items, so be patient.

Great price on that unit, though I have never heard of it and it is a refurbished unit.

Leaning towards the Garmin Zumo just because it is waterproof.  Still not made up my mind and who knows, I may end up biting the bullet and trying the new model Zumo 220.  Price is  a lot better than the older model Zumos.

Far as refurbished/recertified is concerned, a test tech. explained to me. When something is new they are spot checked before packaged.  Refurbished/recertified could be just a return or package just open, regardless, the items are gone through and  bench tested for a period of time to be in good working condition. It usually maintains a warranty to the manufacture and goes for generally half the price.

I think the Zumo 550 is a good choice, but you will pay for it, I got mine on sale for $600 about five years ago.
